InsightHub connects to an aggregated, anonymised panel of debit and credit card transactions across the US, covering 90M+ points of interest. The data is not individual level. It is aggregated to place and month, covering metrics like total spend, transaction count, median basket size, and customer frequency. Privacy is preserved at the source.

Coverage varies by location type and size. High traffic commercial locations such as retail stores, restaurants, hospitality venues, and service businesses have the best coverage. Smaller or very low traffic locations may have limited data where privacy thresholds require suppression (fewer than 4 unique customers in a period are excluded by design). Store spend and footfall data refreshes monthly, typically within 21 days of month end. Ticker level consumer spend data for public companies is available as early as 4 days after the transaction date. Social, review, and news data updates more frequently, daily to weekly depending on the connector.

What is a credit and how do I spend them?

Accepted Answer

Credits are a universal currency across all connectors. Each query type has a defined credit cost shown before you confirm. Viewing cached data or asking follow up questions on the same location costs just 1 credit (the data is already retrieved). You never get cut off mid query. Credits are always checked before a new data pull.
